Project Hitman Sniper Assassins Revealed at SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS

New Mobile Game from the Makers of the Acclaimed Hitman Sniper

New Project Sets its Sights on a 2021 Release Date

 

MONTRÉAL (18th March, 2021) — Square Enix Montréal™, the award-winning studio behind Lara Croft GO®, Hitman GO®, Hitman Sniper®, and Deus Ex GO®, announced today that its development teams have been working on a brand new Hitman Sniper mobile game, Project Hitman Sniper Assassins (working title).

The new mobile game will feature a wholly original Hitman story, with new playable assassins and brand-new gameplay features. A short teaser trailer for the project was unveiled at SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS, digital showcase of highly anticipated upcoming releases from the iconic video game publisher.

Montréal, March 18th, 2021– Today, Square Enix® Montréal and TAITO announced a collaboration on a new vision for the Space Invaders brand with a mobile game that includes innovative augmented reality (AR) features.  

This new game takes the Iconic franchise in an exciting new direction, delivering players a compelling and completely new experience through its blend of proprietary AR technology and modern art style. The beloved IP is among the highest-grossing game franchises of all time and a premier brand within the Square Enix group portfolio.

Square Enix Montréal, AN award-winning mobile game development studio, announces its support of Les Scientifines and Technovation Montréal  

Montreal, March 8, 2021 –To commemorate International Women’s Day 2021, Square Enix Montréal, the award-winning mobile game studio behind Lara Croft GO, Hitman GO, Hitman Sniper, and Deus Ex GO, is proud to announce its financial support of Les Scientifines and Technovation Montréal, two Quebec organizations dedicated to enhancing the interest of girls ages 8 to 18 in science and technology.

Developed in collaboration with Concertation Montréal’s Le Mouvement montréalais Les Filles & le code, an organization that maximizes the potential of Montreal initiatives to get more girls and young women interested in careers in technology, Square Enix Montréal financial support of these two organizations aims to help promote STEM to young girls thus building self-esteem, developing key competencies such as entrepreneurship, and countering school drop-out rates.

Square Enix Montréal’s support will help make the programs available to more participants through financing of additional human and material resources.

  • Les Scientifines provides young girls ages 8 to 17 from underprivileged neighbourhoods with programs that include homework help, numerous scientific activities, and support for the development of science fair projetcs.
  • Technovation Montreal is an international mobile app creation competition that aims to develop technology and entrepreneurship skills in girls aged 10 to 18.
